Best Evelyne Color?

Ahh, makes sense. I suppose it depends on your country. In my avi I'm wearing a GM in Feu. I love the pop of colour..so I say go for a colour if you're inclined!
After much deliberation (and truly taking into account the sage advice that a large bag would probably look more elegant in a neutral color), I decided to take TC1's advice and still risk it all on a bright color---feu! However, an SA at my closest store confirmed that feu isn't available in TGM. The only bright color currently available according to her in size 40 is Mykonos blue. The other options in this size are sesame, etain, black, etoupe, navy, and gold; earlier today, Hermes.com also had brique as an option, but that is no longer available. Mykonos blue is gorgeous, but I fear it isn't a year-round color and wouldn't play well with my "autumnal"-colored wardrobe. Would olive, gray, and black look good with Mykonos blue? Back to the drawing board. If brique becomes available again, I may order that and see if it's a keeper. Thanks for listening, folks!

Brique is stunning! If you can find it I would grab one. That is one of the best colors for fall and a perfect seasonal bag color.
Ooh! I confess I didn't think about getting brique. Is it more of a brown/tan neutral, a muted red, a muted crimson (i.e., brick red), or an orange? Different pictures make the color look totally different.

Actually, a question: Is brique more brown, red, or orange?

I get the sense that, like etoupe/etain and some other colors, the precise color of brique depends heavily on the dye lot and the leather. It looks like it can be anything from a red with orangey-brown undertones to an orange that is very red. Thread that might be helpful.

The online return policy is very liberal (30 days for a full refund), so it might not hurt to purchase it and see!

Thanks so much for the input ... and the encouragement:-) I'm off to check out the thread you kindly suggested!

Okay! I ordered the brique! Now I'll have to decide whether to keep the Mykonos TGM I ordered last week, brique TGM, or (if my SA can get one) feu GM; my SA said that a feu GM should be arriving by the end of this week. Thank you again for letting me know that brique became available!!!
