Fellow tech worker here! I just got a 16" MBP for work as well, I previously had the 13" so had no problems there. Wondering if OP ended up deciding on anything? :)

I too am struggling to find something that balances aesthetics, functionality, and weight (I stuff a lot of things in my bag too!)

I like the minimalism and lightweight-ness of the Celine cabas tote, but uncertain if it's strong enough to hold the laptop + other items? The leather is sooo soft
The neverfull was also on my list as well, but it seems like you noted that it doesn't fit in the Neverfull MM?

Posting some pictures here for a visual... Here are the purses in my rotation (and those that just got removed from the rotation when I switched to a Macbook16)

1. Goyard Artoise MM - fits perfectly, and more space for a portable monitor, ipad, cables, essentials. Plus the zipper really make it more convenient. I haven't gone lengths of using this bag so I don't know how it will handle wear, and I am also unsure of its durability yet

2. Louis Vuitton MM Neverfull (epi) - fits as well. I really don't have any issues here, I believe in LV's durability. It's sort of a favorite, I am just looking for more variety.

3. Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM (monogram) - same thoughts as #2

4. Proenza Schouler PS1 Large - I love this style, but this just fell out of my rotation due to the tightness of the space for an MB16. As you can see it will fit, there's just no space for others.

5. MCM Backpack - also fits, but it loses the shape when you fill it in with more stuff.

I recently obtained a large Antigona on fashionphile.. Its not heavy to me. But of course it depends on what you load it with etc.
we know the large is discontinued in the classic structured style. can only find it preloved....

They do have the soft large antigona. Perhaps that will be better in since the weight is a concern for you. Check it out if you hadn't yet!

Hey there I have a 17" laptop (it measures 15 1/2" across). Do you think its possible I could squeeze it into the Goyard Artois MM? I would be ok with the Goyard Saint Louis in GM. I wish I could get away with a smaller laptop but it doesnt make sense for my work.

Hi! I just registered to this forum because I was searching for this information so desperately.
Thank you for providing photos.

But in the photos it looks like the MB16 is wider than the base of the NFMM. Arent you afraid it will start “digging” in the sides due to the macbooks weight? I hope you understand what I mean.

I do have the empreinte NF and I would love to get the macbook16 and use it was my workbag. If anyone could give me more clarification that would be highly appreciated!
