Has anyone seen/felt scarves from either Toteme or Le Scarf? I’m interested in these minimalist designs but unfortunately their websites don’t give much information such as momme weight or how the edges are finished. I obviously wouldn’t expect them to have top-notch quality at these prices, especially Le Scarf. But for something simple and lightweight they might be nice. Any insights?

I find Hermes silks are great quality for the price...I feel like every other luxury brand is priced higher for some reason in my country.

Other brands I think are okay: Burberry, LV (has to be the pure silk ones though), Liberty of London, Halcyon Days - the last two are a bit thinner than Hermes but I love the quality. Halcyon Days supplies scarves for some of the gift shops for some tourist places owned by the British Royal family (Highgrove, Buckingham Palace).

For something which is silk, but not twill, especially crepe de chine, Swiss brands may be interesting. Fabric Frontline is unfortunately dead (officially: bought by Lalique, but there are no scarves which look like outcome of this available online either on Fabric Frontline or Lalique webpage), they used to be amazing. Seidenmann is IMHO worse, but still nice. Beyond Silk is nice, but they have very limited choice, basically "hommage to Swiss towns".
