Just go to a local jewelry store in the mall and choose any 14k gold jewelry you like. Since it would be your first jewelry brand name wouldnt matter. When you need emergency cash and need to pawn it designer names wouldnt matter but the weight of the gold (not that youll expect to pawn your jewelry).. Just choose a reputable jewelry store or maybe even a pawn shop but i would suggest brand new first. People have preferences so if you are a ring person like I am then go for it as your first jewelry. If you are into really expensive stuff then try the cartier trinity ring. Its a good everyday ring. You could try sites such as bidz.com. You could find preloved trinity ring there sometimes for half the price but that is if you are into online purchase. Just dont do it everyday maybe once every 6 mos for your credit card safety. Beware though it could be addictive. They have new stuff too but i would prefer their preloved since i know branded names would have thicker gold or better quality.. I bought a few cheap stuff from them the new ones and the quality is not good and also the stone. Well maybe because i bought them cheap. Hehe like a jade earrings and the jade fell off so after that i stick to their preloved/vintage. I also bought a diamond ring from them and it has a really huge inclusion anyone would see right away. I cant complain it did say I2 clarity before i bought it. So just read the details very well and you cant go wrong.
