Hmmm… Have any of you stopped to take inventory of your growing handbag collections?! I was a bit shocked when I actually inventoried my 2014 purchases. Also, decided, it is time to downsize! Whew...

2014 was the year of the handbag for me… I must say I did not pay full price for any of my handbags. Actually, when I took inventory of the actual costs, I’d venture to say I scored all of these gorgeous bags for a minimum of 25% off… Most of the time… even better deals.

Also, planning to sell a few as they are practically new and I rarely use them. I should be ashamed; however, I am really not! I work over 60 hours a week and enjoy handbags. I mean... I am a member of tPF. Duh! :p

How about you ladies/gents? Any New Years Resolution to downsize or the more the merrier?!

I feel so much better. My collection is tiny compared to both of you...I think? (see my signature) :smile1: I still plan on keeping everything I own right now and just purchased a preowned large black quilted Miranda with silver hardware...very hard to find. :search:Happy holidays to me! :giggles:

If I start counting I will end up wearing a BAG OF SHAME on my friggin head- no thanks, I'll pass......I'm really not sorry though. But I will admit the quantity is rediculous with only a glance at the shelves. I buy high and low end because I'm a true bagwhore just like my mom. Now SHE has a collection and we share and trade off all the time. My daughters are not into bags which is weird...

I did that back in the summer. Then I had to let some go, and also let go of the nagging thought that "they won't sell for much". I sold a Phoebe and and Isabelle (because I had multiples) on ebay for $125 each. Yes that hurt, but the buyers were so excited over getting such a great deal I felt better. If they're just collecting dust & taking up room & not bringing you any joy then it's time to let them go. I did the same with most of my Vera Bradley stuff too. It was liberating & honestly I don't miss them.
