Yes, I agree. None of the online photos do the bag justice. I have tried taking my own photos and mine are even worse. I am keeping her and today, I returned another beautiful bag so I could keep this one...I would much rather keep the Beet Rocco. My gf LOVES this bag and urged me to keep her.
I want another Rocco (black) & a Rockie one day!
Omg! Love both of them! Thanks for sharing your pics. I still REALLY want this bag but I have been distracted by a few other purchases. I should be receiving some gift cards from Barney's soon and I think I may use them to buy the beet Rockie.
Yea, I was lucky. At least 2 of my gf's were shocked at how "light" the bag is - everybody expects it to be WAY heavier. Actually, all my large leather bags are heavy...leather IS heavy. I was lucky because I got the Beet Rocco at almost 40% off if you look at Canadian pricing. I found this bag at SSense which is in Montreal for $1125 cad but I paid $699 cad at local Winners
I can't wait to get the black Rocco with matte black hardware but maybe I will hunt down the black Rockie with matte black hardware instead (maybe that ought to be my limit, kwim? Because otherwise, I could keep going with Rocco's and Rockie's in cayenne, smooth leather, more black with brass or nickel or pale gold hardware...the list goes on!)
And yea...there are other brands too
the beet is such a gorgeous colour, and i think it will be very versatile too!
The colour is divine when you carry it outside! Lighting really has an effect so that's why my own photos are so lousy. I'm glad I lopped off the price tag and started carrying her. Beet is very neutral - it goes with everything.
