The key is very pretty! What metal would you want it in? Both my oval key and my diamond key charm are in YG. I do like them and when I decide to use them I remember why I bought them and feel good wearing them, but I have just realised over time that I am a creature of habit and tend to wear certain types of designs more than others. I think the key motif may be a bit trendy for me perhaps, I don't know.

My other pendant from Tiffany's (apart from the 'X' one that I am considering returning) is a rose gold mini bean and I absolutely love that, I wear it practically everyday. I like the simplicity of it and the fact that it goes with most outfits. That together with my 1 carat diamond pave ball necklace in white gold (non-designer) are probably the two pendants I wear the most. I also worry about how much money I will make back if I ever decide to sell my Tiffany pieces. I sold an almost new DBTY .08 necklace in YG a few months ago and took a huge hit.

I, too, was looking at YG. I'd been eying the Tiffany Small Oval Key in YG. A friend had hinted that he would get it for me for Christmas, but then his plans changed and his gift to me became something entirely different. So, the YG Oval Key ended up on my 'Wish List' among the other things I have to save for and/or hunt down pre-loved.

I owned the RG mini bean, and I LOVED it, too, but I found that it moved a lot and my son was eying the chain a little too much for my comfort level. I returned it and told myself I would purchase something else... but I've yet to do that. (I replaced my son's shattered iPad instead!)

I sent back the SS Filigree Heart with Key today. I'm exchanging it for the Bow Pendant in the mini size in SS. I'm hoping I really love it because I have the matching bead bracelet on the way. It does look cute!

The funny thing is that now my wheels are turning towards the mini version of this Filigree Heart necklace in yellow gold. I think I may like it better because it's smaller and on a shorter chain (and I need more gold pieces). It's now on the wish list - that just keeps growing!

I've never returned a piece that I've bought directly from the boutique, but I have turned around and sold pieces I've gotten off of ebay. Since I live near a boutique, I try on most stuff and have the time to window shop before making a decision. This is more difficult with discontinued pieces. I've flipped a pendant and ring, both for about the same price as i paid, so I don't feel so bad.

I just returned the two charms I got last week: the airplane and the Notes alphabet disc.

I'm not sure if my alphabet disc was faulty or whether this is how they all look, but the 'A' was so faintly inscribed that people thought it was just scratched or blank unless they buried their face in my chest...no thanks. I thought it would be darker like online, and maybe it would have gotten that way with time, but I didn't want to get it dirty enough to find out.

I absolutely adored the airplane charm, but I wore it for one day on a necklace, and the tiny propellers that I loved so much kept tangling in my hair. I could have worn this just on 'bun days' but I wear my hair down 95% of the time, and I didn't love the airplane enough to let the propellers spin little bald patches into my head.

Oh well, I exchanged for a bean, which I've been wanting for ages, and I'm sure I'll get a lot more wear out of.

Such a shame! I got the disc as well in the same size (0.5 inches) and the alphabet is definitely visible at conversational distance. The inscription doesn't look dirty, but I do think my disc is tarnished now that I've been wearing it for around 6 months, on and off, because I've paired it with a new chain and that looks whiter.

But the bean is still a very good choice :)

Which bean did you get? I'm on the fence when it comes to the bean; I kind if want one but not sure.

I ordered the 14mm, with the chain lengthened to 18". I knew I really wanted a bean but was on the fence about size. I think the 14mm is a good halfway point between itty bitty and statement size.

I'll post photos when I receive it :smile1:
