Beautiful Birkin, but do I keep her?

It's just a pouch for carrying your stuff. It seems too heavy for you. So, I'd say, return it. And get a pouch, which suits your purpose. Honestly, these are just things to hold our things. I love the workmanship but I am not in love with the handbags. They can be very heavy.

You let it go once, and you are thinking of letting go of it again. You don't really want it because it's heavy. And no one can blame you for that. You just know that it won't fit your lifestyle and preference---even if it is a nice purse. It's just like letting go of a BF. He is handsome, kind, etc. ---but you can't accept a certain trait that he can't change. You try to make it work but in the end, you realize he's not for you.....so you finally let go---even with a heavy heart. Good luck!

It is a very heavy bag and though I love the way Birkin 35 looks, I am using mine only for travelling, meaning when I can put her on the suitcase and let her rest there instead on my arm. I can not manage to carry her any more, so I would say, let her go and try your luck with smaller sizes!

OK. I'm going to keep her, give her a fair trial.
True story, for your entertainment......

Yesterday, went out on horseback to help my neighbor, a cattle farmer, find the predator that killed one of his calves. Most likely a coyote in these parts.
My horse (like my dang car, so often) is in the shop. He needs a shoe replaced.

I was riding a "borrowed" horse (AKA a friend's horse whom I've never ridden) and while he was good (that means he didn't try to throw me into a muddy ditch) he kept pulling, telling me he wanted to run faster.

I kept telling him to QUIT IT. Don't jack up my shoulder, boy. I've got a lovely new Birkin to try out.
Do you have an update? are you using her and loving her? I hope so !

I will go out on an emotional limb here...and say I sold that bag. And I truly regret it. If the person who now owns it would be willing to private message me, we may come to a very lucrative agreement !!!
Would you feel better if you had something to replace it? Perhaps a B30 as other posters suggested? All of the love, none (ok well some) of the weight!
