Very true that’s what I’ve been thinking too - one of those half moon inserts in the toe area could help to push my foot back to the back of the shoe... and if I ordered the smaller width it will probably widen anyway to the widht that equals the wider one anyway? Oh gosh I don’t know.

What I do know: I did not get any dust bag with the shoes, I just realised! Do ballet flats come with dust bags!?

If I remember correctly, the shoes did come with dust bags.

All Chanel shoes come with two dust bags, one for each shoe. Boots, sandals, too... all shoes. If you did not get two dust bags, just ask your SA.

as for the size at home the 37C suddenly seems very big, I don’t know yet if I’ll keep them, try 37B or even size down(I’ve never had to do that in my life!)

She is 100% lying I have to say. All I buy are Chanel shoes, and I've been buying them for years. Every shoe comes with two dust bags, one for each shoe. C width is too big in my opinion unless you have really wide feet. The ballets will be too wide and it will show the side edge of your foot too much (unless of course your feet are really wide). My gut is 37.5B is your size. A 37 is too short if it hits your toe. If you are undecided, get both sizes, try them on at home in the morning and in the evening when your feet are the fattest. Feet swell, and I would rather have shoes slightly loose than slightly tight. If slightly tight, you will dread wearing them.

Ballets are very easy to wear... mine are worn slightly loose.
And yes, insist on TWO bags, not just one, and not to be a pain, but she should mail them to you. She is not a good SA to not give you shoe bags and now make you come in to get them. I hope she at least offered for you to take both pairs home and try them on. That's really the best way... I have done that many times when I purchase a new Chanel shoe style and I am not sure of size, especially boots which sizing is all over the place.

Yup! I don’t take mine any more. The dust bags I adore were decades ago, gucci had silky soft ones that took up very little room when you packed them
