p.s. I don't ever zip. I can't either. Susie says she never zips and she was just in Ohio with freezing weather and she didn't zip. All you gotta do when its cold is wear a scarf!

Whew! What a night. I'm such a sophomore when it comes to martinis but we retrained from "imbibing" too much :girlwhack:

I LOVE this Bal on DIV! OMGOSH it's so beautiful and the color is DIVINE!! Now I understand the lighter weight jacket concept. Here's what's odd, Div's 44 fits like her 42 09 beige? These Fall 10's fit smaller, whoa. MY BIG SIS TOTALLY LUCKED OUT (creep)!!

Divnanata - woww! You look hot! You are soooo lucky to have scored it for such a great deal. I love ciel. I tried it on once and I fell in love with it! Please let me know how well you think this color holds up. I'm just wondering since it is so light, is it prone to any color transfer or gets dirty easily?

BTW, does anyone know how to tell the difference between the cropped or longer version?

Kai scarves are a tremendous accessory that I've only recently discovered within the last 18 months. Hummmm? Do you think the Bal jackets had something to do with this?

looking lovely Div, a pity my screen shows really dark pics...I havent been wearing my Bals since this weather is soooo icy! Even with a scarf. I can't wait for hotter weather...I have been wearing my red one around the house, my kids must really think I'm crazy

That's the beauty of these jackets? They can be comfortably worn and transition from indoors to the outside.

When I was in Ohio, they were experiencing lots of snow and 20 degree temps. I had a warm top, cashmere scarf and my gloves to complement my jacket. I didn't carry a heavy coat on the plane and was able to bounce around in all types of temperature settings with ease, LOL!!!:nuts:

I have the beige which is lighter then then ciel (BTW, so does DIV) and we don't think twice about the dirt (hummm does that say something negative about our lifestyles, LOL)...

Anyway I adore these distressed lighter leathers, they look so ubercool broken in and "used". They become your signature piece. The ciel fits into that catagory.
