Hey roey, so true about the lighting at the Bal boutiques appearing lighter IRL....I saw the DN RGGH City IRL today & I was so surprised how dark the colour was. Nothing like the pic LVLux revealed in the Town RGGH. The bag I saw today was not in a Balenciaga Boutique, rather an all around boutique, that sells several high end designer bags & shoes. It is at least 2 shades darker than Officier & looked almost Black to me.

At first I really thought it was Black. :oh: Only until I picked up on the lighting on the edge of the city, where there was the Blue tinge, did I then realise it was DN. There was a jet Black GSH PT not far from the DN RGGH City & it was clear too me, I was looking at DN....

I could be wrong as it was displayed in the window & did not walk in as I was in a hurry. (but I doubt it) I had my Officier with me & placed it up on the window close to the DN & must say it's a very Dark Blue. CG was right, it's no Officier. Many SA were stating another Officier, once again, not true....The leather I must add was very distressed & I didn't mind it. I will be interested to see what you think & wish you all the best in your pursue of DN...:smile1:

Up near the handles it shows the best-I am also going to put my triple on today and wear it in bright light and take a pic.

ITA w/your assessment of the DNight Color & that is why I keep saying but Charcoal/Smokier because the only place I see any blue is on the edges and in addition to your description I find the color to be more of a Flat Charcoal overall Tone-That is not saying that the bag is flat or that the color is dull but compared to Black it does not give off the light reflection that the black bag does IMO-If I was a Gray Person & If I did not have an Anthra that I loved (I happen to love the green/blue tones in the 2011 Anthra that I got) Then I would be all over the Dark Night-Because for someone that wants a variance on a Dark Black/Charcoal/Midnight Blue Bag-Dark Night Fit the Bill!

Here is the same picture that I altered the color based on the WB and got it to fit what I think the Dark Night actually looks like IRL-SO please note that I have altered this image from the image that was posted/sent to me directly from the Boutique-but I find it more true to the color-Tell me what you think.

So glad you agree with my assessment LVLux...ooh yes, the give away is the Blue edging on the side of the bag. It is a flat colour & too me at first it appeared almost Black, but now that I think about it, a dark charcaol may be an even better description.....You did well too alter the pic, it is how I saw it in the window display. I literally had to look twice to pic up on the fact is was DN & not a Black bag, as mentioned before, the give away was the Blue edging on the side of the bag....
I will emphasise the leather on the DN RGGH City was gorgeous. I didn't feel it though, had no time...
It had the evenly distressed leather that I like, but whether it was soft too touch or dry, I do not know. Interesting that your Triple bracelat is so much lighter outside & perhaps that is how the DN bag will look like...
I am puzzled with the DN. One thing I do know, it is not for me.....;)
The Black GSH PT I saw displayed, was so jet Black, ooh my I loved it. That is another factor that made me realise it was definetely DN RGGH City the other bag displayed not far from the Jet Black beauty....

tsuarsawan-the leather on the black gsh was Amazing??? My SA sent me pics today and we are both thinking that it is a little lighter of a black so I passed-Maybe I should run back & grab it???

The leather on the DN RGGH City was amazing....Gorgeous distressing LVLux.. The best leather displayed was on the DN RGGH City....However, I did not feel it.

The 2011 Black GSH PT was jet Black. I didn't take note of the leather, was too busy eyeing the DN RGGH City.....
