Hey you two......what about us poor suckers that don't have any Officier...... or even worse who have never seen this magical mystical colour IRL.....EVER!!!!!!
Oh man just when I thought I was done with the SS colours, I had ridden off Dark Night thinking it was too dark, but now if it's similar to Officier......I might need one in RGGH too!!!! My poor poor wallet!
R if you are getting a DN RGGH I would love to hear how you feel it compares to Officier.
I am deep trouble AGAIN this year! :nuts:

LOL t!

Cap - I am definitely having the DK RGGH City sent from Barneys since it's returnable. It's due to arrive to the store by the end of March so I have quite a long wait. Will be sure to post comparison pics w/Officier!

Has anyone seen this bag IRL - The Butterfly, is it a part of the motor range or the Papier?

hey capbaggirl, now you poor suckers with out Officier... Let me see. If DK is even half as beautiful as the original Officier, then you will love it dearly. I have said this before & will say it again. Officier is a hard act to follow. heck, even I will get me some DK because it will be Officier's clone....:lolots::rofl::roflmfao:

That Butterfly feels really professional to me, for some reason. Maybe perfect for someone who needs a lot of compartments for organizing. I like that there are open pockets on both sides, and the flaps were a good idea in theory, but I'm not a flap-py kind of gal. I do picture it as a kind of perfect bag for a man, though...

Butterfly reminds me of a kelly bag that mated with a bal city bag. It's too small for me though with it's pyramid shape. Bal's really going all out to do new moto styles I guess. The flaps are too flappy for me though - it's like a rubics cube purse or something. I don't need that much of a hard time to get my chapstick out of my bag frankly.

I went in to have a look at the butterfly: doesn't suit my shape at all, or my shape doesn't suit the bag. It really is a better bag on a girl who is really tall and slim with a slightly androgynous, quirky way of dressing... that, or just straight out carried by a guy.

Since
(1) I am neither of the above, plus
(2) the Butterfly feels and looks to me like a formal, heavily compartmentalized travel bag
I've concluded that the Butterfly is really not the one for me this time around.
