I’ve been wanting this bag for sometime and finally purchased yesterday. I looked at the floor model but was given a brand new one that was wrapped to take home. Now that I have it home the bag I received looks uneven. Is this normal? Should I exchange?

Personally I don’t mind it, I feel like the bag will eventually look that way with use. However if you’re unhappy with it, you should definitely exchange it.

I’m not sure if the photo is distorted or the buckle looks slightly out of shape?
If the issue is with the buckle, I would request for an exchange.

Does anyone with the new Napa calfskin version of the baguette have cracked glazing on the flap where it bends? I saw one with this issue on the preloved market and was just wondering if this is normal wear and tear I should expect over time or if it was a one off.

Hi, do you or other baguetteers find that the two sides the strap is attached to, lift in an ugly fashion when you hold the bag by the strap? Not sure I'm explaining this properly. So you have the carrying strap. It's attached to top left and the top right of the bag. When you lift the bag, does it bend upwards on the two sides where the strap is attached, making the bag look absolutely ghastly? I bought an authenticated old version and i hate it.

Are you asking if the Baguette kind of sags a bit when you hold it by the strap? I believe it definitely does but in a kind of slouchy cool chic way. It’s what the Baguette does!

Sags *may* well be the correct description, but to be sure, I've attached a picture. And if that's what you thought I meant, are you sure that other baguettes sag this much? I'd be grateful if it is possible, to please enlarge this picture and check. Somehow, it doesn't look right to me. It looks like a design flaw. And thank you so very much for responding!

That is exactly how the Baguette behaves, do a Google search. Even Carrie Bradshaw’s sagged, it’s slouchy chic. Maybe you’re not used to seeing it bc the newer ones seem a little more structured than the original version.
