I absolutely adore this thread!! I just wish I could justify bags with a contrast lining. They are amazing and adorable, and trust me, if I ran into one of you somewhere and could see you had a contrast lining bag, I would probably be shameless about admiring it, but so far I just can't see justifying one for my collection. I love the hunt, have only done one special order in my life, and even then did not ask for anything crazy. Although, as I understand it, I do own more than a few special orders from previous owners who did not keep them. I had a good SA who kept her clientele close and so was able to come across some really good things through her over the years, on the 2nd market.

I guess it might be something I aspire to, to place a contrast special order It's not today and I don't see it soon, but I hope my life is so charmed that I get to do something like that in the years to come.

^ Thanks, of course! I haven't even seen her IRL yet. DH just brought her home from FSH today, and I'm still at work... le sigh... but he took this for me right after he picked her up (he picked this combo out himself)
