Bag or Jewelry??

no regrets. I get a lot of compliments for it, even if they don't know it's VCA. they'd say my bracelet is so cute.

I don't really have buyers remorse, to be honest, because it's shortage consciousness. It assumes I only have a fixed amount of income for the rest of my life (which I don't because we can never really say what the future holds; I could get a promotion tomorrow, for example, or I could win the lottery, or I could get an inheritance from a relative I barely knew) and so I should've spent it more on more reasonable things.

But what is reasonable? A lot of people buy expensive stuff all the time. People buy Teslas when they can buy a cheaper car. People buy summer houses even if they don't live in it much of the year.

Follow what excites you, buy what you love, because it's your money and only you can say how to spend it.

Hope your week is starting well. I’ve been thinking about making a purchase of designer items as I‘ve been saving up for quite some time..

I don’t own a lot of designer pieces. I bought Fendi Peekaboo Mini

3 years ago on my 23rd birthday and I thought it was a good purchase because there’s no obvious logo, looks super timeless, and goes well with pretty much every outfit that I wear. I kind of wish I bought a Chanel bag though.

Now, I’m thinking of buying myself a Cartier JUC bracelet - the small one without diamonds. I tried it in store to figure out my size and loved it. I’ve always loved jewelleries and I’m slowly building my fine jewellery collection and I have a list of pieces I dream of buying.

However, I’m also debating whether I should get Chanel mini rectangle instead as the Fendi peekaboo is pretty much my only handbag. My favourite Tory Burch fleming convertible bag was stolen a long time ago haha

I think I will eventually purchase both Cartier JUC bracelet and Chanel handbag but I’m not sure which one I should buy first. I’m overthinking because I don’t usually make a big purchase!

What do you guys think? Help a girl out, thank you in advance

IMO, the Chanel mini if you only have one hand bag. I would look at the Cartier thread to see how quickly Cartier price increases occur, but I assume Chanel prices move up faster. But, I would say, go to Chanel and see if you fall in love with a particular bag first.

When you get dressed, which item most frustrates you when you don’t have it at hand? The right bag for style and function or the right jewelry piece to put the “icing” on your outfit?

If neither are a need, which will make you feel the happiest / most treated, most cared for? What will make your heart sing?

In my country, Cartier pieces I’m aiming for just dropped in price by about 5.5% this month. I visited the store last month and was told that they’re having a price increase, so I’m not sure what’s going on..

Do you guys think it would be a wise decision to go the preloved route for the Chanel handbag?

I’m thinking of purchasing my first Cartier JUC bracelet, and then get a Chanel handbag in a couple of months.
