I purchased my lindy 30 in Tokyo few years ago and I fit the empty box inside my big suitcase packing clean new clothes inside in order not to waste space. I used the bag when I flew back home and packed my old BV veneta inside the suitcase as well. I think lindy 30 box is same size as birkin 30box.

I've been traveling and just got a b30. It fits in my tumi carry on. I have the wide 20 inch bag though so it is like a 22 but shorter and wider. I hand carry the bag in a duffle and stick other stuff in the box and check it in. I've carried 2 b35 boxes back from previous trips and they fit into your typical 32 or up suitcases. Good luck on your find . I always make sure I have room for a box. If not, I ship it or leave them with friends and carry it back at a later time.

I did it myself: 30 fits into maximum carry on allowed suitcases / trollies, but the 35 won't!

Never done it myself but my SA offered it to me. They use Fedex.

It will likely be a lot cheaper to have your concierge ship it via the France postal service. I have done this in the past, and it gets here usually 2-3 weeks later. But do tell them to pack it in a bigger cardboard box for you. I never thought that you'd have to instruct them to do this, but in my last shipment, the lazy concierge literally duck-taped the H box. Needless to say, I was livid.

Did you have to pay import taxes on the box? I assume it was empty.

No because I literally sent them back empty.
