Same as Golden Butterfly, I was also under the impression that I was making a purchase ahead of time, the SA didn’t mention it was to secure a spot. She sent me a receipt showing I was paying for the 5 motif-Alhambra guilloche bracelet in YG.
I will update if I hear differently from my SA.

I just paid the full amount for a 5-motif bracelet in YG. My SA said it was for a preorder, not to secure a spot. They told me it would take 4 months to make, then another 2 weeks to resize after it arrives. *Sigh

I too will need to have my bracelet resized when it arrives. Here’s to all of us who are here waiting for our 5 motif guilloche bracelet :drinks:

I just called my SA and he told me that I secured the bracelet by paying in full and I will not be affected by any price increases that happen since I paid in full. It's odd and frustrating how we all keep getting different information!

My question to you all… if you have a YG Guilloche bracelet, did you order yours online or find it available in store? Or did you order it in the store? How long did it take for you to get it in hand?

I know this is a year old, but in case anyone is still curious about timelines:

I placed an order for the Guilloché bracelet in 2018. I was told there was no ETA on it at the time, but I received it pretty quickly.

I ended up ordering the earrings and 10 Motif necklace a few months later. Again, was told there is no ETA, and received them within a few months. All my pieces were from an SA with the online boutique as I do not have a VCA in my state.

Yes - the physical boutiques and online boutique do have their own inventory.

Reading the comments here, I just feel a stark difference as compared to the period I got mine sometime in Sep-2022.

Though at that time, all Alhambra were not available for pre-order, I only waited for 1 week for my 5 motifs YG Guilloche. I was also surprised by how fast it was as my SA just requested for it in the system.

And then last year in Jun-23, I think I was lucky that I only waited 2 days for the matching YG Guilloche earrings and I got them during my travel overseas.

I would’ve thought this year should have been better if VCA allowed to pre-order and lock in old price with deposit just before the recent Price Increase.

For something that can be pre-ordered with deposit, they should allow to lock the price. I’ve never been charged with a new price for something that I am allowed to order with deposit as long as I collect it within a month after its arrival at the store though price revision has happened by then.

Hi! Any updates on your wg 5 motif timeline? I just placed an order at the 5th Ave store and my SA told me 3-4 months for wg... just hoping to get an idea of how long it was taking earlier this year :)

Hi! Its been a while so I don’t remember the exact time frame, but it was about 4-6 weeks, including sizing time. I don’t remember having to wait a long time.

Were you able to try on the bracelet before you placed an order?

I’ve been told it’s roughly the same time frame but as they never have the bracelet when I visit I have to make the order before seeing it in person.

I purchased my Guilloché pieces in 2018 and 2019. I had to wait a few weeks (I can’t remember how long) for my two 2019 purchases - 5 years ago!!!
Demand has increased since then and I’m not surprised there is a wait…

There’s no boutique in my state, so everything is shipped to me. I love visiting boutiques while traveling and trying stuff on in person, but there is something to be said about trying pieces on at home, in your every day lighting and environment, etc.

I purchased the WG guilloche bracelet 2 weeks ago and wasn't able to try on the bracelet before ordering but my SA said they received a 20 motif necklace so I was able to put that on my wrist instead. I wonder if your boutique would have the 20 motif available to try on?

I can send you the photos and videos I took if you want! The bracelet also arrived much faster than my SA said it would so it's being sized and I'll have it in the next week or so. Can send you photos then too.
