How interesting you feel that way, @Karenska, because that is the only reason I am not considering that color way for Wild Singapore. I have Cosmographia and Mountain Zebra in the blue/gold colors, and find the new Wild Singapore in those same colors too duplicative, even though it is very pretty in blue, too.
Very interesting! If I had those designs in that cw, I would feel the same as you. I am pretty happy with this idea of WS in the blue cw; it would give me a scarf in those gorgeous blues and also add to my collection of “cats” (Acte III, Savana Dance, Jungle Love, and others). A win-win :yahoo:.

I‘m looking at that same cw @Karenska. Wasn’t really thinking of acquiring another dark 90 or blue 90 but it’s very pretty and I don’t have anything in the blue/gold family. Plus I have shockingly few cat scarves for being such a cat devotee :)

I was in FSH yesterday. Was really hoping to see the toucan scarf but they didn't have a single scarf from the new season yet and said they wouldn't get them before August. Also, you can touch the scarves but can no longer try them around your neck.

The story behind

Alice Shirley pays tribute to the stunning biodiversity of Singapore. A key stopover for birds migrating from northern Asia to Australia, this fertile island dotted with mangroves and rainforests is home to some unique flora and fauna. Most of the animal species depicted under the tree canopy – bats, greater mouse-deer, leopard cats and Malayan civets – are nocturnal and only come out at nightfall. At the center of the composition, a lion in the form of a tropical fig tree watches over the nature of Singapore, whose name means "the city of the lion" in Sanskrit, in reference to its founding legend.
DIED> OMGoodness!

The story behind
In a tribute to nature, its beauty and its infinite creativity, Aline Honoré draws us into a vortex, a whirling crown of feathers. Perfectly reproduced or entirely imaginary, they echo the ceremonial or celebratory adornments they can inspire. For protection, seduction or camouflage, the beauty of the feathers emanates from their function. Guinea fowl, birds-of-paradise, partridges, pheasants, manucodes, parrots… birds from all over the world lend their quill and down feathers to the artist, who magnifies and reinvents them.
I knew better than to step into this thread.

It is very pretty and, not trying to enable you, but we do find ways to honor (er, worship) our felines, don’t we?

Well, as usual I don't like any of the new scarves except for Kelly en Perles, but I don't wear 140 silks:rolleyes: I also like the Plumes en Fete CSGM, but in my neck of the woods feathers in general are supposed to bring bad luck , especially peacock feathers....my old SA would never let me try on, or even less buy, scarves with feathers or even birds:panic:, because she really beleived in this superstition! I'm not superstitious but this feather thing always makes me feel uncomfortable, lol....So I don'tknow wether I'll buy the CSGM....:-s
