Hi all - I received my online order of Wild Singapore 05 yesterday and saw the faint line (as per pictures). I was about to gift wrap it and thought I should do a quick go over as my recipient is one meticulous lady. I wonder if this is a production issue or just a one-off for this scarf... Any input will be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

Thank you for the heads up. My original plan was to wait for one of the three green colorways to show up, but here we are in October and it looks like they will not be coming. My Wild Singapore arrived today, and I'm in love with this wonderful lion and his fauna and friends. I pulled out some of my clothes. and it looks like this scarf will integrate into my wardrobe just fine. Another Alice Shirley beauty for my collection.

Can’t speak for this scarf in particular, but I’ve noticed this visible ‘where to stop rolling the hem’ line on quite a few of the designs this season.

Thanks, Romily. If it was my scarf, I would attempt to give it a light 'hand wash' and get over it. But the problem is I am giving that as a present .. maybe I have to go to plan B and buy a "La Legende .." instead

@CaviarChanel - I don’t think it will come out with hand washing. I think it’s a printed line which is a guide for the people rolling the hems.

If you are giving it as a present and know that the slightly under-rolled hem/not hidden bits of the guideline would bother her, I would suggest going in store, if possible, to exchange, as it is possible that not all of them have this issue. I’m sure others with this CW will be able to chime in as to whether they do or not!

I have scarfs that have the "here's where to stop rolling the hem line" from previous years. But I think you are referring instead to the slight pulls/runs at the hem which are visible. I believe that they arise because the needle used by the "rouletteuse" (the woman who rolls & sews the hem) was not adequately sharp. This bothers me (but not all tpfers are this fussy) and I check all scarfs carefully before buying to avoid what I consider a "flaw". I would get a replacement if it's possible if this is the concern.

There's an embroidered version of the Tresor de Medor Twilly on the US website that i don't think has been posted here before:
