Is it me or is the model wearing a different scarf in this cw? This is Les Rubans du Cheval. Looks like it’s only the ivory cw that is wrong.

From looking at the picture online
Amazone, specifically this cw was my least favorite and when I actually saw it on person, I totally fell in love with the mix of muted greens and fuschia red!

I will be enjoying this one for sure!

I finally pulled the trigger today on Cheval Plumes CW21. It occurs to me that this is probably in the same colors as @momasaurus 's Botanical Toucans that I admired so much back on page 144. I guess that I will find out.

Huh, I think you might be right. This is the modshot for the Rubans du Cheval in the same cw on the website, looks more like the Grand Carrosse. I guess they mixed the two up.

This colorway of Toucans does not remind me of Cw21 La Lengende du Cheval although it does have the same/similar colors but however it does make me think of CW05 Amazones. I think the hems plays a big part. Jmo.

Toucans. Love the black, love the green and the blue, love the hem but overall it’s too colourful for me so it may go back.

Finally laid my hands on the SG edition of Wild Singapore a few weeks ago. TBH, I don’t like how H plays the game for pieces like these which they clearly have lots of stock for, but it is what it is, and the things I do for love



I loved that she placed the otter details on one tail end of the scarf - they started appearing in numbers in the past 5 years and almost like our “wild pets”. Everyone has a soft spot for them. The nocturnal theme and making our lion mascot out of a forest is sheer genius. I am so in awe of the beautiful work on this piece.

Also managed to get some shots of Chèvre du plumes. It’s interesting how busy 2 ends can look together and the other 2 ends are so much more peaceful due to the blue skies which tampers down the busy ness of the scarf. All in a good season for me!!

Thank you so very much for the comparison shots. Cheval Plumes CW21 is definitely using the same paintbox as the Botanical Toucans. Totally different designs, but lots of the same pinks, blues and greens. It took a while, but I finally spotted that lovely deep burgundy that borders Toucans in Plumes on the tiny archway in the first of these three photos.
