Congrats to you! Isn’t it a beauty?? That blue plumes is on my short list. Is it the one that looks like this (artwork by my 4 year old, she saw me browsing H.com and got inspired lol).

I have been waiting for Monsieur et Madame 70. It is tantalizingly close, with one cw (orange) showing up on the US site, (accompanied by the "Darn Internet" message).

@Nynne - Thank you for the mod shots, both right way up and upside down! Gives one a new perspective on things! The light camel hem is divine!

Two mod shots from the boutique, La Legende de la Foret CW6 and Plumes en Fete CW16. I didn't get either although I'm seriously considering both. I never wear orange but the bright colors of the feathers looked so bright against the orange backdrop of that shawl. And the coral shade on La Legende is simply beautiful.

@ajaxbreaker - ummm, yes. That orange CW looks so bright and cheery. I had to eliminate this from my choices as it was too similar to my 90. Would orange work in your wardrobe, if it’s not a colour you would normally go for? LdlF is a very interesting contrast to all the rainbow cw’s I’ve seen, so thank you for the pictures!

This is for all of you lovelies! I got two scarves yesterday: Exposition Universelle in marine/violet/Jaun. I love the fall colors in this one. Along with a variety of purples ranging from raisin and anemones, it includes bright pops of yellow, red, navy, black and beautiful browns. An unexpected colorway, but so happy to have it. CW is 07. Funny that my choice for the second scarf, La Legende de la Foret is also CW 7.

@Ladybaga - You’ve paired these two new additions beautifully with your purple and blue tops. The purple top is just amazing and I’ve added this colour to my list of coloured tops that I must purchase. That gold LdlF with the royal blue is a match made in heaven

I got a new scarf yesterday! Here is La Danse des Amazones CW1. Unfortunately, after seeing my modshots I think I might return it. While the bold pink is lovely, it has too much white/pale areas for my taste. Leaving the modshots here in case it might help someone.

I visited the Hermès store on Friday, but unfortunately they didn’t have much inventory from the Fall/Winter 2020 collection. Even though everyone at Hermès is so lovely, I find shopping at this time difficult and a bit stressful. All of these scarves have been shown here before, but I post some pics just in case they are helpful to someone. I found the light to be a bit bright, which washed out the colors in many shots.

@hotgalaxy - Thank you for the very helpful photos. This design was vaguely on my radar, now it’s definitely come to the forefront!

I chose the Pink colorway but not sure if I am going to keep her. I like the color but not sure if it’s just too....cutesy?

@MAGJES - Teach me your print matching ways, oh masterful one! That first photo is AMAZING! The CW does read young and cutesy when flat...but when styled and knotted like this, it reads fresh, casual and elegant. I hope you keep it!

Thanks to the photos on this board, I fell in love with Legende de la Foret and ordered colorways 07 and 12 to try. I'm now having the hardest time choosing between them! The gold/bleu/noir is right in my wheelhouse color-wise but the noir/mauve/multicolore does such a great job of brightening up blacks. What to do? Both strike me as more casual, youthful, and joyous than a lot of the 90cms I've come across, and the colorways do feel very different from one another.

But ... I've never considered owning two colorways of a scarf before and am not sure I want to start now. As it is, the only 90 I seem to wear with any frequency is Tyger Tyger 05 (and I actually tried Wild Singapore first and returned it because it felt too similar). I know you all are great enablers, but I thought I'd also see if you have any advice. Does one look best? Is there another great 90cm that might be similar in vibe that I could sub in for one of them? Or just go ahead and keep them both?

@jaschultze - oh my. Two very different looks! I personally love the black with the leather jacket but that is very different to the styling for the gold! If you don’t mind having two of the same design, I would go ahead and keep both because they’re both beautiful on you.

I bought this one: Promenades de Paris (70x70). I like the combination of the powerful pink with the lovely green . The hem is very fresh and modern. Haven‘t had time to tie and now the lightning is not the best. @Foxy trini - I’m happy to read that you’ll keep this and it looks wonderful on you. That second mod shot with the big cat is simply marvellous!

I don't think this has been posted with mod shots. Here is Jardin de Soie CSGM in cw 03 Noir/Vert/Multicolore . Be warned - it is VERY bright. The "yellow" is almost a fluorescent neon lime - not the usual black background scarf IMO. I think it will work perfectly with an all black winter wardrobe if you love a "pop" of colour. It "reads" like Peuple du Vent IMO, but since I don't have that design I can love this one (with NO dancing bears...).

@minnnea - I’m happily twinning with you! I took this home last week and was really on the fence about it. I was 97% sure that I would exchange it for the pink/black/multicolour CW...then I opened the box to try it with a black top and fell in love. Such a charming design and I’m glad that you obviously feel the same way that I do!




@Le Lion - Wowser! That red looks fantastic on you! It’s a wonderful choice and probably would have been my first pick if it had looked as it does on you!



@passion.du.jour - Yay!!! You decided on the blue! Such a marvellous and saturated CW! I hope that the weather for you has changed, or is in the process of changing, to scarf wearing temperatures so that you can wear this beautiful CSGM!

Yes! I am so happy with the blue, but there’s definitely a lot more on my list for this season! It’s still mid 80s so haven’t had much chance to wear it - definitely looking forward to cooler weather!

Have you decided already? I would suggest keeping both (if possible). The cow’s are sufficiently different that it doesn’t look like the same scarf and the way you’ve styled them is perfect

Actually a great suggestion. Not sure why I did not reach for black at first.
Here’s a quick pic. I added a mint green pencil skirt behind it. Kind of matchy matchy but it shows the variety of colors in this colorway!!

Nice with black! And also with that sweet green. In some designs I don't like any of the CWs, in this one - ACK - they are all fabulous.

@eagle1002us - not the OP but the mauvey-pink and blue scarf is Grande Tenue CW05 and it is a wash. It’s really gorgeous and gives a modern feel to a classic design.

I did! Thanks for the kind words, @Ania, and all the others who chimed in. Like me, you all were pretty evenly split and I just couldn't see giving either up. It will be a great experiment, if nothing else, but I can see reaching for both often. This group really is the best.
