I need help authentication of Louis Vuitton papillon 30 damier ebene. The pictures of the bag , print alignment looks off. Can’t read date code. I’m not familiar with this style or this print . Please help.IMG_7253.jpgIMG_7254.jpgIMG_7255.jpgIMG_7256.jpg

There are a LOT of posts here about them from members who have received items that were in worse condition than the description stated or in too many cases actually were fake. ANY item from The Real Real should always be authenticated before listing, the authenticators they use can't always be depended on to tell the difference. What's even worse is that items returned to them because they're counterfeit and with a valid explanation of WHY they're counterfeit are almost immediately relisted!

You need to use the Search feature in these forums to research sellers and websites. There are 25 pages of posts mentioning TheRealReal and although not all of them are about that site's selling practices, this one is:

That site's URL is redacted and blocked by the forum. Just give us the name without the www and dot.com and see if that works, although it's usually not a good sign when the link is blocked. That's sometimes done with untrustworthy or dangerous sites to try to prevent members from getting into trouble.

I guess nobody checks this thread anymore...But just to let other people coming after me. Got my bag, is awsome, carrived with all its papers, dust bag, security tag..and I paid 40% less on a tote that is currently on the burberry site at full price.
All good. Free shipping, was shipped from Italy, and funny enough less duties that I pay when items are shipped from the US ( I am in Canada). so... all good all around.
