when i signed on in class this morning i noticed a thread in handbags and purses section with the following website attached. http://www.wholesale86.com they claim to have wholesale discount designer bags and shoes. has anyone ever heard of them? it looks as if some random person made an account to sell their own items. no one has commented on their thread or closed the discussion so i'm not really sure what to think... any help would be great. thanks!! :) :)

Stay away from these websites.

You cannot purchase designer items "wholesale" period.

:cursing:

It's a big scam.

Do an internet search on wholesale scams.

You can go to www.liquidation.com and buy in bulk lots. I know you can find some Coach, Kate Spade, Juicy, etc. on there but, it is basically kind of like an ebay of large lots of merchandise because you have to outbid other people to be able to buy the lots. Just go on there and type in the brand that you are looking to buy and if they have any current auctions with that brand, it will come up.

The balenciaga bags are counterfeits.:tdown::tdown::tdown:

Stay away from this site!

They might post photos of authenticate bags, but will ship you counterfeits.

Ask them to email you photos of the ACTUAL bag you are interested in, then post the photos in the appropriate "authenticate this" thread.

I rather hastily (ie. naively) jumped at a Gucci tote listed for $799 on Modabelle.com and then did some research (thank you, Purseblog) and took a closer look at their website and spotted several red flags - mispelling/grammar issues, a generic voicemail at the number listed, the fact that despite their claim to waive shipping for orders over $500 that I was charged $32.00 for shipping. I called and emailed within 24 hours asking that they cancel my order and that their site and lack of professional answering service, etc. made me wary. Well, they never charged my card for the order BUT they never replied to my emails or calls on the matter. Not a WORD. I am hoping I'm in the clear and my order was indeed cancelled but either way wanted to warn the community here that, while I don't have absolute proof that this site sells fakes, I do feel I dodged a bullet on this one. There is no way a legitimate company would have such poor customer service. This may be a given for all you bag pros out there but a word to all the babes in the woods like me: AVOID Modabelle.com Shaaaady!
