I'm afraid the bag on the listing and the bag you get both are fake. But wait until PP and Missfiggy authenticate it. They are very knowledgeable.

Hiya

I am currently in a dispute with seller on ebay. I bought a prada fairy bag and the one that arrived didn't match the one in the listing. Now paypal are asking me to prove it's not authentic through a third party so grateful if someone could advise how I can do this. Below details of the bag I received, can add more if required:

Item: PRADA Fairy Bag
Listing number:130403961071
Seller: syedji052010 ( Feedback score of 5 )
Link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....961071&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_500wt_1026
Comments: Bag received was not the same as the one in the listing

- Front view of bag
- Zipper & its end
- Hardware
- Clear picture of the interior lining
- Base of the handles

Seriously fake! Go to caroldiva.com and get her to do a letter for you. Paypal/eBay will accept that. Shame they won't accept our opinions because I'd be damn proud to  on it to express my opinion....

I have a prada bag that was given to me as a gift that I'm considering selling. I have no idea what the original purchase price was or what it is worth now. I'd like to post pictures to authenticate as well as get some idea of how much it might sell for. Thanks for your help.

As I said in your other thread, the rules of tPF clearly state that you aren't allowed to promote the sale of your own items and I personally do not authenticate for sellers because of this rule.

I'm NOT posting a sale just trying to get info on what the re-sale value would be on a specific prada. Maybe if I took out the information that I am considering selling it would not be breaking the rules. I'm really not here to stir trouble I was befuddled on what rules I was/am breaking.

All new Prada bags directly from Prada factories have authenticity cards. On the secondary market, it may or may not have one. Most important fact: just because a bag on the secondary market has an authenticity card does NOT mean the bag is authentic. Authenticity cards are faked by the MILLIONS.

Thanks so much PP!!! Now just to decide if its worth d price :)

That's actually something you could - and should - do for yourself. Research ended listings on Ebay and elsewhere. Check resellers. You obviously have access to the internet. That's what the members here would have to do in order to provide you with the information you are seeking. Why should they do your work for you? I just don't get it. :shrugs:

NWT PRADA DEER SKIN CERVO ANTIK BOWLER LOGO HANDBAG

Seller: yan5696
Item #: 170512366502
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170512366502&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Please help to authenticate. There are 3 things I am concerned with.
1. The "R" on the tag on the front of the bag doesn't look right.
2. The model number. I received a bunch of pics F/W from Joanna and this bag was 1 of them and the model no. of that is very different from this.
3. It says cervo antik on the card but according to Joanna, these bags are plain dyed.

What do you think? Thanks.

Just to clear things up, you CAN post items here even if you are selling them.
Please just don't ever mention anywhere on our forum that you are selling something, this = advertising to us.
Our authenticators are volunteers and can choose what to authenticate and what not to authenticate.
Just wanted to put the facts out there.
