Hi,

I have got a question about the plastic prada authenticity card that comes with the bag. I own 2 genuine prada bags bought from prada stores and the staff stamped their shop name and dated the back of the cards for me. But I see a lot of prada bags on ebay without the name and date on the back of their authenticity card - does it automatically mean they are fakes and I should stay away? Thanks.

Can't see all the details I like very clearly, but it looks like it could be authentic. See if you can get some close ups of the triangle tag, inside tag and the lining.

Not necessarily. Some retailers stamp and others don't - simple as that.

Thanks mf for your reply regarding the name/date on authenticity cards. I also posted the above a little while ago, but I think it got lost amongst all the other posts. PP has knidly given me her verdict already (she says it is authentic:yahoo:!) and I was waiting for yours before I starting bidding. Thanks.

Actually, only actual free standing Prada boutiques stamp the cards with the location and purchase date. Everyone else leaves it blank. ;)
