Time For a New Sermon!
Speaking as a seller on eBay, people PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE:
******************. BID SECOND.
There has been a
huge influx of authentication requests on items that have already been bid on, won or purchased, and then put on this thread before they have even been paid for, much less received. It puts the seller in a really bad financial spot.
If the seller is selling fake, I really don't care if they are losing money, but when it's a legit seller with a legit item (that perhaps doesn't have good enough photos to make a call here), they've been stuck with listing fees, final value fees and have an item on their hands that they can't relist because they are waiting for your money.
Buyers on the other hand, are risking taking a Non-Pay Bidder hit (and being kicked off eBay) if they don't honor their Bids/Buy It Now on eBay. It is a contract on eBay when you place a bid or make a purchase. Buyers need to be more considerate of sellers on eBay, if not for the seller, for yourselves.
When you get that itchy trigger finger, please chant this mantra:
******************, BID SECOND.
If you can't get an answer right before the auction ends, then don't bid.
