Hi,

I am hoping you could have a look at a Mulberry East West Bayswater handbag I bought on eBay back in May. Once I got it and had a good look at it, there were a few questions:

Item Name: Mulberry East West Bayswater - Black Leather
Item Number: 331858774757
Seller ID: tightnat1970
Link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mulberry-...JhhnA8JIL2xAuaFBwQrKo%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

My concerns, compared to my other Mulberry handbag, are that:

1 - The tree symbol on the front plate has slight differences (trunk shape and number of leaves).
2 - Inside, the embossed Mulberry 'made in England' logo is more an Orange colour than gold.

Pictures included showing that in greater detail than the listing. It has been mentioned on this thread before, but the vendor didn't re-submit the requested information, so I'd be grateful if you could take a look, thanks.

Thank you so much for your help.
Inclined to think ok, the flickr link does not work.

Thank you, Lakrits. I think I know where I did wrong. Somehow when I pasted the links, the old links are retained.
The correct flickr link is : https://www.flickr.com/photos/28865351@N00/sets/72157666841595454/

Thank you.

Shame you didn't check here before you purchased it, as it is definitely fake.

Thank you.

The flickr link worked for me previously, and interestingly still does but the one you have added as the correct link, doesn't! However, the bag is fine.

Thanks for confirming that for me - I had my suspicions!

Can you confirm that what I thought was right ref what identified it as a fake please? I'm about to go back for a refund now and having that extra detail would be really useful.

Thanks for your help.

We don't disclose the reasons why an item is counterfeit as this is a public board and we don't want to assist the replica makers in improving their fakes. The bag has quite a number of issues but not particularly the ones you mentioned. If you want specific reasons, you can use a formal authenticator such as Authenticate4u or Fakespotters.
