Item name: Mulberry Bayswater Bag
Item number: 231914290711
Seller ID: vintage2versace2011

I saw this in my local vintage and designer store a few weeks ago, however I wasn't sure about authenticity. The hardware itself is very odd - neither brass nor soft gold. Now it's on eBay and I'm finally on TPF, I thought I'd ask the experts.

Looks good.

Hi Kris,

So I got the bag today and upon closer examination, had a few doubts:

- Bag does not have leather patches below the studs at the base of bag like my other Bays does, studs are directly fixed on the base of bag
- Inner lining is of cotton canvas material, whereas my other Bays has a suede-ish inner
- There are no inner two pockets below the zipper and leather tab where the metal tag should be attached to
- The leather belts to tighten/expand the bag space seems to be longer

I've attached some screenshots below, hoping that you could kindly advise if this is indeed authentic. The seller has agreed that I can return the bag within a week if it is non-authentic.

Thank you so much!

The official authenticators are away for a few days but to save you buying this is a fake bag.
