Can you authenticate or substantiate my concerns about this little vintage Mulberry I came across, please?

The brass tag is not like anything I've ever seen before with the (R), the logo seems poorly spaced and stitching not the quality I'd expect, but the seller insists it's just super vintage.

I recently bought this vintage Mulberry bag second hand in the UK and would really appreciate your help confirming whether it’s authentic. It’s a crossbody model made of brown leather, with a “Made in England” tag inside, but no serial number.

Here are some details:

• It has a Riri zipper.
• There’s a tree logo stamped on the metal clasp.
• The leather and stitching look high-quality.
• Interior is lined with a brown herringbone fabric

I’ve attached several photos including the front, inside, zippers, and hardware.

I’d also love to know which model it might be and a rough idea of its value for resale.
