I have a damaged mulberry bag, approximately 20 years old. I’m willing to sell as a restoration project, but I’m unsure of whether it is authentic. I’m about to move and would like to get rid of it, but it has so much potential that I believe someone else may enjoy this as a restoration project.

Please let me know any thoughts!

jazzyjay - I have purchased from your website before. I am DESPERATE for some help. I sold my Antony regular on Vinted (reluctantly) and the buyer is saying they can’t trust it is real. I am pretty sure I am being scammed (long story short) I know it is 100% genuine but I don’t have the receipt. I am a collector of mulberry bags so you can imagine how upsetting this is for me! I know it’s real but for some kind of support I just need people to back me up. Please someone help as this is under dispute and I only have two days to gather “evidence”.

Bag: Bayswater East West
Link: N/A, bought in local charity shop

Sorry for the lack of link, i bought it yesterday at our local Longfield for £25. If anyone would kindly take a look, i'd be much thankful.
There's a number of issues why i think it might be a fake:
- has feet
- the ominous 565321 #, albeit in a shallow laser etching, but in a serif font
- the copper tone (orangeish) foil heat stamp, in an inappropriate font
- opentail 'g' in 'England'.

The clochette is petal-shaped, i've seen that only on the 'tooled' Bays.
The zip head's backside is blank.

In theory i have 2 weeks for a return/refund, only i'd feel bad for requesting a refund from a hospice charity, LOL. At 25 quids it's not the end of the world anyway. Just want to make sure i know what it is, so i won't gift it to family or resell it if it's a fake.
Thanks in advance, whoever helps me out!

Edit/ PS i found one example of the same, shallow-etched 565321 serial# on a German resale site, on an old 'document bag': https://nl.classybagshop.com/product-page/mulberry-document-bag

Would someone take a look at this antony please. I am told it does have a label inside 'made in turkey' and SK5 on the reverse.
We do generally like to see the made in label but that aside, the bag looks fine.

Sorry, we don't authenticate from photos alone but you can use the services of a formal authenticator such as Authenticate4u.

Hello everybody, I need help authenticating this Alexa Bag. Is it a bargain or a fraud? According to the seller this type of vintage bag doesn’t have a “made in” label. The look of the inside tag made me suspicious
Thank you so much for your time and help!

Hello, please would you be able to look at the above bag to see if it is genuine? I believe it is a Mulberry Greta hobo, but there is no serial number disc - I asked the seller about it, who said that ' it came off a number of years ago'.
Many thanks for your time
Looks good.
