Hi,

I have gone ahead and purchased this Oak Elgin. The photos aren’t that good (but this seller just isn’t good with the camera judging from other listings) I don’t think they are intentionally being deceitful - well I’m hoping. So the loose thread on the front buckle kind of worries me a little because I don’t think a real Mulberry maker wouldn’t start and finish at that point. But it could be a seconds perhaps?

Anyway, I know you need to see labels more closely to be sure, but if you were a betting woman (which obviously I am) would you be inclined to say it’s real or a fake? I won’t hold you to it...ha ha:smile: I know Elgins are particularly prone to fakes.

Thanks in advance

Cant see anything wrong, but would need to see better and close up photos of the Mulberry label/disc, the made in tag and the magnetic fasteners please.

Anyone who knows the name of this bag and when was it first made?
I think it’s called a Hanover bag. It‘s actually quite contemporary looking as that whole hobo shape is heating up again.

It's not a Hanover, it's a Leigh. There is actually a pinned thread for identifying bags Identify this Mulberry; this thread is for authentication.
