Please can I have some help on authentication for my Mulberry bag.
It was purchased second hand and I contacted Mulberry in regards to authenticity from which they told me this was an older style Del Rey. I sent them lots of photos and I can upload the email reply if needed.
However I have now decided to sell this bag and have came across some online “trolls” who feel the need to claim this bag is fake so any help would be much appreciated as I would like to sell it and I believe it’s real due to it’s quality/detailing and the fact Mulberry confirmed its style however I most certainly wouldn’t like to sell to someone if as others have claimed it’s a fake.
Some more details to help -
The bag is real leather. Smells and feels like leather so definitely is leather.
Stitching looks good quality and even.
Serial number is etched not stamped in
Has small black tag with a “x” on and made in England on the other side.
Any help much appreciated. xView attachment 4492492View attachment 4492493 View attachment 4492495View attachment 4492493 View attachment 4492499View attachment 4492502 View attachment 4492503View attachment 4492498 View attachment 4492500View attachment 4492501
Mulberry don't offer authentication and haven't done for some years. Please post your request fully in the format as stated in post #1 including a working link to the listing. Perhaps the so-called 'trolls' have your best interests at heart!

It looks likely to be fine but the serial number is out of focus and there is no photo of the made in label, so would like to see both. Also, slight exaggeration on behalf of the seller that it was bought for £1700. It wouldn't even have been bought at full price as the interior label is single zero stamped, denoting it was sold as a 'sub' at a Mulberry factory/outlet store.

I'm inclined to think it is fine however I would want to see the made in label taken straight on, the serial number straight on and without the fingers obscuring it and also the turnlock from the side profile showing the hole.

Hi, so I talked to the seller and the following pictures were sent per request:

Item name: Mulberry Del Rey
Item number: 264374844374
Seller: kickhigh

Thanks so much!

I presume you are the seller as you also posted this on the Identify thread. It is fake with very many issues. If you purchased it from a thrift shop, then I would suggest you take it back for a refund; they are not allowed to sell items that they do not know to be genuine.

Thank you- I appreciate your help, I thought that it might be a fake. The shop were reluctant to take it back today and insisted that it was real so I eventually agreed on an exchange for items of the same value.
Thank you for giving me piece of mine, I appreciate it. I might not my have money back but thankfully im not stuck with a broken fake bag either.
