Hello! I wierd question, can a brynmore from an outlet have two brass discs on the same bag with different serial number? :confused1:. One brass disc on the left side on the outside of the bag and one inside the bag in the middle.

Further to Lakrits' reply, whilst we would need to see photos of the bag in question, if a bag has two discs, then they will have different serial numbers.

Ok how will I do that? Ok thanks for the reply but how do you see that it´s a fake? so I can tell the seller and get my money back, thanks!

The authenticators don't like to give detailed reasons why a bag is fake so that they don't help the replica bag makers do a better job. The serial number alone is the most commonly used number on fake bags.
I'm assuming you bought it on ebay and paid by paypal ? E mail the seller and tell them you have had the bag authenticated by The Purse Forum and it is fake. Tell them you want to return the bag for a full refund. If they so no or don't answer open a dispute with Paypal.
Good Luck.

Ok I understand, no I bought it thru a swedish site it´s like craigslist. The seller promised me that she would send the receipt from the Mulberry store when she bought it but when I got the bag there wasn´t any receipt. She sent me an email and told she would send me the recipt afterwars because she couldnt find it because she just had to move etc. And now when you ladies told me it was a fake bag and fake number I sent her an email and told it otherwise I have to report her and now she is telling me that I could go to the Mulberry store and make them check it out because the bag is real she says. And she wrote that from the serial number you can´t tell if a bag is fake or not and you can´t track a serial number and that Mulberry don´t even have the numbers in their file. And she told me that I could send the bag back. So please help me out ladies! what is this??

Best regards

The bag is definitely not genuine. Mulberry do not provide an authentication service, they stopped well over a year ago. It is true that the serial number cannot be tracked as it is only a design feature, but we can use the number for authentication purposes. No two numbers are the same, and the number on the bag you have purchased, is the most commonly used ones on counterfeits. Aside from that, as I advised you previously, the bag has many other issues. If you paid by paypal, I would suggest that you issue a chargeback and return the item. If the seller disputes that it is counterfeit, you may need to provide evidence which Fakespotters or Authenticate4u can do for you, for a fee.

Hello, lovely ladies!

I purchased my first Mulberry from a truly wonderful TPF-er ( :ty:) after you ladies were so nice and authenticated it for me.

I am now wondering if you could be so kind and take a look at this bag for me (not from an auction site):

Item Name: Mulberry Mabel Hobo (metallic calf champagne leather)
Link: http://s1214.photobucket.com/albums/cc485/elskkementari/Mulberry/#!cpZZ1QQtppZZ20
Comments: The photos on white background do not include the tag. Last added photos on brown background shows details of the tag and coin. (What is the correct name for the "tag" by the way?).

I am not a very good purse photographer, so please do let me know if you need me to take better pictures.

Your help is much appreciated as always! Thank you very much :smile1:
