Hi!

I just bought an oversized Tillie yesterday because the ad looked really genuine and after running a check on the seller it all seemed dandy.

However, the ad is missing pictures of the made in tag and magnetic fasteners (as soon as I receive the bag I will post pictures) as well as measurements - is there anything else I should've picked up on? Should I ask for the receipt, if kept, to be sent also?

I could have asked the seller to post these pictures but I was too afraid any of the watchers would BIN!

Also, is there anywhere in London I can take the bag to get it officially authenticated?

Many thanks!

If the bag you receive is the one photographed, then it is fine, there is no need to see additional photos. Mulberry themselves recommend us here for informal authentications, as they stopped authenticating some time ago. Otherwise, you can use a paid for service such as Authenticate4u for a formal authentication.

Would like to see the interior oval Mulberry label and a clear photo of the made in label.
Thanks so much. I have been sent additional (not that clear) photos, please see attached. (I hope you can see them as I couldn't attach them as jpegs!)

Thank you so much - the seller has let me know he will try and find the receipt and he also told me his wife bought it in the Bicester Mulberry Store.

Is it possible that Bicester would keep any details of the purchase/serial number at all? I just don't understand what the serial number is for if you can't use it to authenticate your bag?

I only really want it officialy authenticated because if I'd ever want to sell this on in the future I'd have all the documents ready for a potential buyer to look at, as I've now bought it second hand and not from store.

Thanks a million for your help :)

When adding additional questions etc, please always repost your original post in the format as stated in post #1. Mulberry make bags in Spain, Turkey, China, Italy and England. If Lakrits has advised you the bag is genuine, then it will be.

Thank you JazzyJay. I'm not sure how to post this the multi-posts, as I'm new to this. I'd greatly appreciate it if you'd show me how and attached images for future posts. Thank you very much =)

http://www.flickr.com/photos/118769045@N06/ here are the images of the bag and tag said, "Made in Turkey".

Also, I'd like to learn how to tell the bag are authentic? What detail should I look for? Is there informative site or link that I can research?

The serial is only a design feature. There was also a period when there were no serials.
