Help!! - a good friend of mine with the best of intentions bought me a mulberry cara delevingne khaki camp pouch from ebay... Can someone check the photos out to see if it's the real deal? - she only admitted it was from ebay when I told her That I was not really sure it me....

The bit that worries me - it has a pocket inside, but on the mulberry website it says that it has 3 credit card slips? - and I can't find any photos of inside anywhere!

Hi,

I bought this Regular Mulberry Alexa in June from ebay. I was happy with the bag but after a few uses I decided it wasn't for me so I resold it. The buyer was initially happy with the bag but today I've had an email from her saying that her friend thinks it's a replica based on the engraving. She didn't give specifics. This was my first Mulberry purchase but knowing more about Mulberry now i'm not convinced it is a fake. I had another Mulberry Alexa at the time which I compared before selling and nothing caught my attention.

Can any of you help me?

Thanks in advance :)

I am not sure but inclined to think it is fine, second and possibly third opinion needed, please. :-)
know I'm not an authenticator, but i have this cara pouch- my reveal is on this forum somewhere a few weeks ago- and mine is the same, only one pocket, not the 3 as advertised on Mulberry, and mine was direct from mulberry.com. hope that helps!

The photos aren't very sharp but looking at them I see no issues. Would be great to see clear close ups of the made in tag and the magnetic fasteners.

Hi Lakrits

Thank you for your input. Sorry I'm still getting to grips with this forum so not sure how to quote you. ! I know the pictures are not great. I don't have the bag now so I can't take any clearer pictures. I have spoken to the lady who I bought it from and she assures me it's a genuine Mulberry and I believe her. I have told the lady I sold the bag to to get it checked out at a Mulberry store for her peace of mind.

It's a horrible feeling to think that you may have been duped and then to think you have then unknowingly sold on a fake mulberry! I was so upset this morning! The lady who bought the bag from me wasn't convinced that it was a fake either but I think she had doubts as her friend who is an avid mulberry collector told her it may be a replica because of the engraving or something!

Feeling a bit more relieved now, thanks :smile1:
