Hi Ladies :)

I am unfortunately experiencing an ebay related nightmare! On Sunday I sold a brand new, unused Mulberry bag from my personal collection. I sent it off, expecting it to be well loved at it's new home and to my surprise, had a case opened against me for selling a supposedly completely damaged fake bag! I must be pretty naive because I never imagined this could happen! I know the bag is genuine, as I bought it myself from Flannels and have proof of purchase. Hand on heart I had never used the bag, and I sold it in brand new condition with all of it's original tags. I wasn't concerned initially but now I have read horror stories online where ebay asks the buyer to destroy the bag to prevent from resale, and also refunds the buyer even though they are trying to pull a fast one! I found out I was pregnant with my little boy three weeks after I bought the bag, which is why I never found use for it, as I now have to carry huge bags around with me, which was the reason for the sale! I really think it could be helpful for my case to have a third party verify it's authenticity and I have been told TPF is the place for that, I would really appreciate it! I have even seen a member posting photos of the exact same bag on a thread so hopefully I can find her and get her to have a look! Here is a link to my bag, the listing on ebay, where you can see all photographs and tags!

Please post your requests in the format as stated in post #1. Sorry to hear about your problem sale. As the bag is no longer in your possession, we can only base our thoughts on the photos in your listing as generally I would want to see the made in label, but I see no issues based on those photos. The onus is on the buyer to prove an item is counterfeit and that would generally mean they would have to provide a formal authentication report from a provider such as Authenticate4u or Fakespotters.

Hi Kris, thanks for your help. Here are more pictures of the first bag

I have requested pictures of the second bag, responded with 'like new inside' which is helpful...

Thank you!

When adding additional photos or info, please also always repost your original request in the format as stated in post #1. The requested photos are not provided. We need to see a clear, close up photo of the interior oval Mulberry label taken straight on and the side profile of the turnlock showing the hole.

Hi

Regarding - Mulberry Somerset Tote Bag - should the zipper close to the left or to the right? And what about the small pendant / ornaments by the zipper - what if it's not on the bag?

The pictures below shows two bags with these differences. Is one of bags fake?

Thank you.
