Hi,
I'm new to this forum so apologies if this isn't the correct format/way to ask.

I've just purchased a Small Mulberry Willow in Indigo Colour from Brand Alley It still cost £999 however after some research decided they supply goods and at a saving of £351 all is good.

The bag arrived yesterday and looks good, but i've just got this niggling feeling perhaps i should of bought direct from Mulberry if you could authenticate it i'd be extremely appreciative.

I've emailed Mulberry who state that Brand Alley aren't authorized stockists of the bag so will not authenticate it.

It also has a serial number of 2056055

I can get more pics if required.

Thanks in advance

Mike

Item: Black Bayswater with shiny gold hw

Link: None - can't find the listing

Comments: The bag is very slouchy and the leather is super soft yet still thick. Also it is a little bit more shiny/glossy than the darwin leather bags I have seen. Could this be the glossy goat? Also the "made in tag" is placed down in the left (for the viewer placed in front of the bag) corner at the front side of the bag.

Looks hopeful but would like to see the made in label taken straight on and the turnlock from the side profile showing the hole.

The bag looks fine and the location of the made in tag is not unusal. It certainly isn't nvt so may well be glossy goat or even pebbled.

Hi Jazzy Jay, thanks for the response. attached are some more pics

Does the Dust Bag seem ok, as it only says Mulberry on one side?

I've also had this response from **********

So you think it is authentic? Also what does NVT mean? How can I identify the leather type? Also is it normal to be so slouchy it can't stand without being stuffed?

Yes, as I said, the bag is fine meaning it is genuine. NVT is natural vegetable tanned leather, which is the replacement for darwin. Some leathers are more slouchy than others.

The dustbag is the newer design and is as expected. I actually wanted to see the turnlock (the part that turns) from the side profile clearly showing the hole, however from the additional photos you have provided, the bag looks fine.
