There are a few points to explain:

If you check with Mulberry and with Liberty Department store in London, where I bought the bag, they will both tell you that having a serial number on the back of the metal tag is not in itself the primary proof that this is a Mulberry bag, as it can be easily inscribed by a forger.

The primary proof of purchase from Mulberry directly or a reputable reseller such as Liberty. I have sent you already the receipt from Liberty.

This particular bag is made by Mulberry exclusively for Liberty and does not have a serial number under the tag. The tag is a gold plated, that does not lift up like the more usual tags found on its other bags.

On the sewn label inside the bag is “RPC”.


Any clarification from lovely authenticator ladies most welcome.

Yes what the seller says is correct, also we did not ask for the serial. The photos are still very small and cant be enlarged. Still need to see bigger photos and also one of the correct side of the made in tag (with the made in xxx on it) The bag is likely to be ok, cant assess properly without the requested photos though. If you cant enlarge them you may ask the seller to add them in the listing ?
