The seller has listed this Emmy and then commented to say it is fake and no longer being sold, which is bizarre. I was actually going to bid on it. I have an Emmy already and honestly couldn't tell it was fake. I'm no expert whatsoever, but thought I could tell a fake Emmy. This has really worried me!! What are the telltale signs?

It is very light. The reason i know this is because i had the black patent bayswater without the space for the macbook - do you know if the 13" ones were made lighter.

Also there is no 'made in' label - should there be?

It looks fine to me, I wouldn't necessarily expect it to have a chain on the neckline, most likely a leather loop if one at all.

We don't disclose the reasons why an item may be counterfeit as this is a public board and we don't want to assist replica makers. If you compared this one side by side to a genuine one, there would be some obvious differences.

Lakrits has already advised you that the bag is fine, which it is. An invoice or a tag would not have the serial number stated. The 'serial' number is a design feature and cannot be traced, and not all bags have them.

Hi all, well I put in an offer on the Mulberry Blenheim that Lakrits recently took a look at for me. I am having trouble remembering from my old collection but am fairly sure on previous Blenheims I have had there was a serial number, but on this one there is no serial number on the underside of the brass disc, and no 'made in' label anywhere. Is this OK? I know not all bags have the label and serial number, but thought the Blenheims usually did. The link is:
