Real or fake?

i'd say fake. It has a leather tag hanging behind the price tag, and the handles are wrapped in plastic.

Font on the zipper seems off too.

I'm no expert, but the stitching and the zipper look good to me.. and the seller doesn't seem like a scammer from what she's selling and has sold in the past. It seems like a pain to ship and wait for the repairs though... but at that price, it's probably worth it.

Is this authentic? Everything looks good, but I'm not sure about the bottom of the bag. The quilting looks even and the color of the stiches look correct. Any advice?

I can't tell either. Did you find this on the taiwan Ebay? It's also listed in the US Ebay.

the first thing I did was look at her completed auctions-the bag was relisted 5x. That's always a red flag. Actually I didn't have much to do @ work so I was able to research lol

again, i'm no expert, but the color of the stitching looks too light. I think the thread is suppose to be a darker blue.

I have seen this guide mentioned elsewhere in the forum, but thought I might post the link here in the Authenticate this MJ thread (where it really belongs!). It's Vogue1966's guide on how to tell real from fake MJ. It has been invaluable to me and has steered me clear of countless fakes. This guide is exhaustive for the classic MJ bags like the Stella, Sophia, Multipocket, Cammie, etc. Unfortunately, she hasn't updated it much for the Stam generation, but a lot of the tips she gives are universal for all MJ. Hope this helps!
