I just received my MJ multi pocket purchase from ebay and I'm pretty confident about it--however, would you guys just humor me and take a look at the photos I took? Sorry some of them aren't the greatest--in the closeup of the pushlock the colors are all off.

Even if it's real, I still think I overpaid! :push:

No worries! I was watching it for fun, I already own one in that color and wanted to see if someone would buy it for that price. Great bag! I didn't know there was two sizes though. Congrats on the new bag, I would love to see pics with the two side by side.

I think it's real, everything looks in order: icey leather with brushed gold hardware, canvas interior all correlates with this style stam. Size and shape look good, as does the stitching on the bottom. If she has a copy of the receipt(since she purchased it herself), that might give you peace of mind. Also, she has other auctions, maybe have someone in another forum authenticate another style of her bags maybe? You can never be too careful esp at this price.

This season's Black Stam (with canvas lining) is still available in stores, would you consider getting it from big online retailers instead? It's a bit more than the one in the listing you posted, but you get peace of mind (don't have to be concerned about its authencity).

In comparison to mine it is the real deal. Since this is suede lined just look for the "Made in Italy" stamped near the plaque and you are good to go.

How old is the bag and how much did you pay? Black Large MPS in good to great condition can fetch up to $500.:tender:

Thanks Harlem Cutie. There is a subtle "Made in Italy" stamp above the inside zipper. It's a small multi pocket and I paid $400 for it. It's in pretty good shape, except that there is one stud missing on one side, below the handle. The zipper is a little tough to open--can I use a little WD40 on it?

You guys have gotten me hooked on designer bags! My husband is not pleased! :girlsigh:
