It is a pretty color!! This has been faked and although she has the serial tag in the listing I would still request the zipperheads... From the sound of the listing she seems very likely to provide them... And they should be clear since she got the closeup of the serial tag KWIM... I think this is gonna be good but would ust want to dot the i's...

Can you post a pic of the zipperhead underside please? That is what needs to be reviewed I have not seen this with the red suede like that before... Could be a good find

eta: Is the color a really pale pink?? Like Dusty Pink (which would explain the lining)?? At first I thought it was white... Zip pics and the color please

Please post a pic of the zipperhead - where the pull attaches - Does it say YKK? I thought only the key pouches used the YKK... Please post pics.

This one looks ok so far, but definitely check the serial tag and zipperheads on this. This appears to be the quilted bowler.

Can you show us a side view of the zipperhead? Where the hook attaches to the pull? It should have the ykk engraving on that. Is there any sort of "made in" tag anywhere inside the coin pouch?

I believe a similar bag popped up on eBay a while back. From what I recall, the Viva La Val bags never had this distresses look to it. The Green shouldbe a solid, overall green color.

As for the other details, I see what you mean by the letters on the front, but perhaps the seller used the bag so much it kind of rubbed off? The other details look good to me, so I would ask the seller and see if the bag has been used heavily.

ETA: upon second glance, the nameplate looks a little weird me. Maybe it's the lighting but the nameplate should be black and white letters highlighting "Marc" and "By Marc Jacobs". I would want to see clearer photos before I bid.

Thanks for your help telicious! I see what you mean about the distressing of the leather, and the nameplate. I think i'll give this one a miss, don't want to risk it if it ends up being fake (which I have a feeling it might be, due to the reasons you mentioned). Thanks again!

From what I can see, this looks promising so far.... the texture appears correct on this. The zipperhead looks ok as well, but as june said, the pics aren't enlarging.
