Hmm, am I missing something here?
This is the Spring 08 Groovee and the lining is supposed to be the scrambled letters.

The Nice Tan Groovee which looks somewhat similar is color to this one should have a different lining.

That is the reason for my statement above.

When there are listings for MbMJ - just as in listings for MJ bags. Additional pics should always be requested. This not only provides you with what it takes to make an educated decision about the authenticity of a bag - but also helps you evaluate the communication practices of a seller. Here are what I request before making a verdict if there is not enough provided in the listing.

MbMJ
Close up of zipperhead & pull
Close up of the nameplate or embossement
Close up of the interior lining
Close up of tags (if available)
Both sides of bag and bottom of the benefit of the potential buyer...

MJ
Close up of UNDERSIDE of the zipperheads (the INTERIOR pocket is imperrative)
Close up of the nameplate or embossement
Close up of the serial tag
Close up of the interior lining
Close up of tags (if available)
Both sides of bag and bottom of the benefit of the potential buyer...

Melly and I have decided to stick to Collection bags and you can carry the whole torch on the MbMJ line... :p

Collection bags are where we belong anyway ;)

Good call and after the mini leg work - you are correct!

The bag is REAL the lining has been alternated to the MJ print. I should have noticed the shiny HW...:shrugs:

I apologize for any confusion I may have caused but there were MbMJ Groovee's produced with black and white scrambled interiors. Again, I'm sorry. I promise to stick to authenticating Collection bags from now on. :shame:

Ok, so we agree the seller is legit?

I just want to make sure everyone is clear! If I'm wrong, I'm happy to admit it, but I've bought tons of jeans from her (authentic ones!). I believe she buys department store returns and such.

Aw, I don't think you guys have anything to apologize for! I think it's better safe than sorry, and we know that the authentication forums are just tpf'ers opinions. True, these are very-ridiculously-well-informed tpf'ers' opinions, but still opinions at the end of the day. Thank you guys for authenticating eeeeeeeverything for us!!
