Looks fake to me. The diamond squares don't match up, and the Marc Jacobs embossed on the pushlock seems to be a little too close to the edge. Also did not show pics of the riri zipper and feet.
You need to get pics of the MJ nameplate inside, the RIRI zipper head and a close up of the pushlocks. And maybe a picture of the inside lining. The one picture is not enough to determine authenticity.
I love sap green! The name plate looks fine, IMO. Where is the made in Italy stamp? The zipper head looks good too.
The bag looks like it could be real. The photos are very close up, I wish it was zoomed out more so I could see the overall bag better. It looks pretty beat up.

This is my first post. I bought a MJ bag early last year on ebay and I'm not sure if it's fake. It totally looks genuine except there is no imprint on the under side of the zippers. I just read that there should be a zipper brand imprint Lampo or RIRI?? I believe it's called a Kelly bag. I hate fakes and would never knowingly buy one. How can I tell? My heart sinks to think it may be fake.
I also have a satchel that I bought at Barneys so I know it's genuine and it's even been back to MJ for a repair so it's definately authentic but it has YKK zipper logos on the under side of the zippers.

IIRC i think it should be around 2003 because you have the pinstripe lining. That was released for a short period and then it went back to the all solid canvas lining. Price at that time should be $895 for the Venetia.
Totally fake. The price seems too good to be true..."Marc Jacobs" font on pushlocks and zipper is wrong.
