^ I have this in apple green, I can compare the serial tag to mine if you get the photo. I love the Polina, it's roomy and fun to wear. My only advice is if you get tired of the flaps, tuck one in so you have easier access. It's too deep for anyone else to get their paws in if you leave it open.

Thanks, "cutie"! I thought I may have noticed that the font was a little off, but just don't know enough to be sure!

I also e-mailed the seller and asked her for more pictures, especially the season and style code tag on the inside. I got her response after I read the replies to my post - she gave me the correct season and style codes, but said her camera was "acting up" and she couldn't get a close up of it...a dead giveaway!

Ditto what HC said about the font.. a lot of the current fakes have a thickly embossed MJ on the nameplate that looks to be painted in black to give that antique appearance... if you check the link that I posted for SuLi, you'll see what the nameplate should look like.

And as BL confirmed, Chestnut is a fall 06 color, which means the bag should have canvas lining, not burgundy suede. There was no burgundy lined bag that was made in a dark brown, only the taupe I believe, and this was a lighter shade of brown... Hope this helps!

I would definitely stay way, this seller's previously sold Spys (lots of them) are definitely not authentic.

There's a forum that discusses replicas on TFS, pictures of many replicas can be found there:

The first one is definitely fake... I'm not sure about the 2nd one but there are many fakes that look really good. I'd check the zipper brand and ask for a photo of the serial tag inside the interior pocket.
