I'm not going to say this is fake for sure because the imagery lacks some of the definition, but I have my reservations about this bag. If you can return, I would.
Agreed. The "Made in Italy" tag in the listing is perfectly centered and the one on the bag I received is cut off. I would've never bid in the first place if the correct photo was listed. I just requested a return because of that discrepancy. Fingers crossed! Thanks for all your help!

She's sold about six of these bags in the same color way. The bag pictured is definitely not the one you received.
I hope she is easy to deal with.

She's claiming that there's no way for her to confirm if the made in italy tag was cut between taking the photo and shipping it to me. Can i ask how you were able to figure out she's sold 6 of them in the same color? I still think if i present that as evidence that ebay will step in. Lesson learned. If the deal is too good to be true it probably is.

I'd like to see the inside tag.
So the seller's reply to my asking a close up pic of the inside tag: "Thank you for your message!
The made in Italy tag where is inside of the bag fall off. So no tag , but I still have dust bag and Mansur gavriel tag".
 Wow I never thought that could happen!!! I thought the tag would be securely stitched on the interior - it would fall off IF (big if) the bag gets so abused!!
As I don't own a MG yet, is this common with MG bags that the inside tag can easily fall off?
Thank you again for helping me out!

In my experience, I have never had a tag fall off. I would like to see the MG tags and dustbag.

Hi purse friends. Need help confirming authenticity.

ITEM: Black saffiano MG bag with black interior
ITEM# 19819222
Seller: Overstock
https://www.overstock.com/Clothing-...5UZROCMFDIWQK2W3I&recalg=872,873,839&recidx=0
I went and placed an order anyway today, I hope it's legit if not I will return it. Hopefully it's legit because they didn't have many MG bags in stock. I did not purchase in the auction section, but in the designer section (makes sense because the discount did not apply for any designer bags) There was 3 when I went and purchased it.

Anyone authenticate this Mansur Gavriel crossbody please:
322328687742
I have purchased 2 on EBay recently and there are definite differences particularly with one just like this. It has a letterpress style, visibly deeper embossed stamp which is larger. Leather feels tacky to touch, I thought the seller had used silicon polish. It's very rigid construction I can hardly get my hand in, where the other bag flares at the side and can be almost flattened with pressure.
I am to comparing another currently for sale which I suspect is genuine as it's like the second bag I bought from a consigner. 162278028754
Another detail which could be a give away the loop to secure the straps is stitched on inside edge and not visible the suspect one where the other has three equal visible stitches. Any of info very welcome as I would like to take it up with EBay. Thanks

Please help!
I placed a bid and won the following item. I didn't think to ask first for it to be authenticated here. I know! Dumb.

I just read through part of the thread, and I've noticed that the same seller has been discussed here already. Now I'm concerned that the item is a fake. I haven't paid yet.

Item: Mansueti Gavriel Detachable Wallet Black/Ballerina

Item Number: 142175150160

Seller: kristenpbeach

Comment: I'm worried that I just won a fake item. Please help! Sick to my stomach. The final cost isn't high, but I cannot support the "fake" industry.

Here are the pics included in the auction:

Thank you!
The seller had sold one bag several times over and they were some questions about authenticity, if I recall correctly.

Thank you, rdgldy!

I did inquire about the same bag seemingly sold multiple times. I asked why--(1) returned be buyers; (2) multiple bags.

Seller replied that she/he had multiples. This was odd since she/he used the same pics for all the listings. And in the description, it states that the bag was a Christmas gift.

It just seems shady to me.

Can I contact eBay to cancel the transaction? Without having received the item yet--the auction for the item I won (detachable wallet/pouch that I suspect came with the bag) ended already, but I haven't paid yet because of my concerns.

What should I do?

I don't think the item I won is authentic. ☹️

Thank you!
