The Moderators for this thread are Lee and Addy. Please do NOT PM them to request an authentication. Please post in this thread.

NOTE: The PurseForum requests that only members with an extensive knowledge of the brand and authenticating who have over 500 posts participate as authenticators in this AT thread. The moderators reserve the right to remove authentications that do not meet these requirements.

READ THESE RULES BEFORE POSTING A REQUEST

This is a free service. Our authenticators are volunteers providing their opinions, and who desire to keep counterfeiters and dishonest sellers from profiting from their trade, and to help buyers find authentic items. Authenticators are not required to answer all posts and, for various reasons, some may not be answered.

It is the preference of the authenticators on this thread not to give authentication to members who buy and resell bags. It is also the preference of the authenticators to give authentication to members who post in a range of threads, not just requesting free authentication for designer items. If your request is not answered here, for whatever reasons, professional authentication services are available outside of PF.

1. Do a SEARCH and check if the item has been reviewed by one of the senior authenticators before posting a request. Searches can be done via the seller name or by auction/listing number - add * to the beginning and end of the number (eg. *12345678*).

2. You MUST use the format below when requesting for authentication for auctions or non-auctions:

Format to use for an auction item:

Item Name:
Item Number:
Seller ID:
Link: (please make sure link works after you post) Don't post mobile web link.

Format to use for items from sites of professional seller:

Item Name (if you know it):
Link: (please make sure link works after you post)
Photos: (attach using the paperclip at the top of the message box or upload to photobucket.com and post the links)

We will not authenticate for those who post photos only and cannot provide link to online auction/sale.

3. All requests must have clear photos (either in listing and/or provided by member requesting the authentication). This will help expedite authentications. Please ask the seller/use the macro setting on your digi (little flower). If you cannot see the details yourself, neither can we.

At minimum, pics MUST include:
- all exterior
- interior
- LV heat stamp
- date code
- engraving on hardware (ie. zipper pull, lock, rivet, pushlock, screws, etc)

If the listing or your request does not have the required pics, it will NOT be reviewed. That means if you have not received a response, please check your original posting to ensure all information and pics are present.

Check out this thread! If you're using Photobucket, don't post mobile photobucket links, pics are too small, post links.

Authenticators are not required to answer every request, and it is their right to ignore a request that is not in the proper format.

4. Do NOT make more than 3 requests per post.

5. Please wait at least 24 hours before bumping your request. Search by seller or item # to ensure that it has not been reviewed (see rule 1). If the auction is ending soon, you may say so in your comments. Remember, we are just like you, and get on tPF when we have time so please be patient.

6. To ensure that additional pics requested are seen by the authenticators, quote or provide a link to your original request and response. Use the quote feature or copy and paste the url. Failure to do do may result in your query not being answered. Please utilize the quote feature when responding directly to another post.

7. Comments on price and/or condition are NOT permitted. So please do not ask us for an opinion.

8. Do NOT PM an authenticator or moderator to request authentication. Any and all such requests must be posted in this thread.

9. Should one of your items be questioned in this thread, you are welcome to provide additional pictures or materials supporting its authenticity.

10. Do NOT handle your disputes with other members in this thread. Take your differences to Private Message or just use the REPORT function ( button) to alert the mods, and let them handle it from there. In the meantime, just ignore the poster until a Mod can intervene. Failure to do so can result in banning. Always be respectful when you post and treat others as you expect to be treated. This is an open thread and everyone is welcome to participate.

At first when this bag came out in pics I loved the placement of the tabs and when I found out the mini pochette was bigger then the current one I felt like finally my dream come true. I ordered the new iPhone Max and it’s due to arrive the same day at the multi  I will say though after seeing pavalinarodeodrive video I loved it with the chain to use for going out and I also had a small chain made for when I just want to run errands. I will say her video absolutely sold me on the regular pochette with the pink strap. What a cute look and I feel like so perfect for me when I have tote bag for my kids things and I want to keep my essentials on me. I also have misplaced my first pochette and Lv ever that my mom bought me years ago. I actually just ordered the felicie and decided to return it after seeing how versatile the multi can be:smile: looking forward to Friday will post pics when it arrives
Hihi do you mind sharing the link of the video? Thanks!

Thank you! It’s been referred to as the scam bag because many of us own the older versions of this piece except for the chain and strap. Therefore, those who own the older versions and buy this new model are willingly allowing LV to scam us into buying the new model. If you buy each piece separately, it’s well over the $1550 USD so it’s really not a scam. Also, the PA and MP are highly sought/HTF pieces and some people will buy this bag because they are unable to buy the PA and MP separately. The price point is a really good bundle deal although wearing all items together might not appeal to the average person.

Thanks for the explanation! Now I get it. I already have a vernis PA and a DE MP and am planning to get the illustrations RCP this year so the set doesn’t appeal to me. I guess if people want all the pieces or the strap then that is motivation to get the bag.

For the way I dress I think the style with the multiple pouches on the thick strap is too casual. I have lots of bags but am horrible about changing out bags, so I tend to pick pieces that I can wear with my work clothes and then casually also.

I am excited to see more of your styling pics!

I am excited to receive mine as well! On this forum, I recently noticed noticed how influenced I am by the reviews that I see. I tend to take great reviews about a bag with a "I have to have it!" attitude, and a bad review of a bag as, "Why did I buy this bad??!". Obviously that is the point of reviews, and they can be really helpful. However, for me personally, I sometimes switch my opinion on what I like or don't like waaaayyyy too easily based off of what I read here. At the end of the day, it's really hard to tell how these things will work out. For example, the Favorite MM is such a popular bag. At one point, I just had to have it. When I finally got my hands on one in monogram, I realized that it was not for me, and I returned it within 10 minutes of picking it up (also, there was a major quality issue with that particular bag which further solidified my decision). On the contrary, I have gone back and forth between liking the Neverfull and then hating the Neverfull. I finally bought one, and I am OBSESSED with it! You just never know! For any of you like me who have the "changed my mind syndrome" based off all the good and bad reviews you see, just remember that you are getting these things or not getting these things for you. Don't just jump on the hype train because everyone is ordering this bag, and don't think that you shouldn't like it because other people don't. Buy what you like, and don't buy what you don't like. For now, I am excited about the multi-pochette, and will keep an open mind. It it works out, great, if it doesn't, better luck next time. Until then, I will keep dreaming about seeing this pochette heaven in person .
