ok thanks! he was going to meet me at the store tomorrow to verify...but I guess I will save him the time. Will they give you any information on authenticity at the store if you bring something in?

Their policy is not to authenticate, but some will do so. A lot of the SA's really do not have a clue when it comes to authenticating though.

This one's a fairly obvious fake.

ETA: If he was willing to meet you at the store, he likely believes it's real. I hope he can get his money back, too. Bummer all around.

It's true - they really don't have any special training, I think. Luckily, there are those of us in the world that are psycho LV collectors

You're welcome Suzie! For tips on eBay/PayPal claims, I'd suggest posting in the eBay subforum. The members over there provide great insight as to how to get your money refunded.

What was the problem in getting the pics to you? Surely she can take the pics.
If she can't get the pics to you then DO NOT BUY - the only reason not to provide pics is if she;s hiding something =)

Also - I hate it when sellers say 'guaranteed or 1000% money back" or whatever - those are just words and they don;t MEAN anything. Paypal will get your money back if it's fake but you'll probably be out for shipping both ways

No pics = no buy.

I asked her that exact question and of course no reply. So I figured it was shady and let it go (sigh) my mission to find my 1st LV continues..oh well
