Authenticate This Lancel

Hi,

I bought a Lancel bag at Salvation Army today and I want to know if it's real. Can anyone recommend an authenticator?

Yeah, I'm not really sure what to do. The leather is nice and the stitching is perfect but I've never seen another Lancel and I'm not familiar with their aesthetic. Are fake Lancels popular? I assume any high end bag has replicas, but I've never seen a fake Lancel either.

Yeah higher end bags have replicas everywhere. But I have no idea about Lancel replica. I assume u r quite safe? Lol

Do you think it would be okay to start a thread about how common fakes are for the more obscure bags? I'm new to the forum and unclear on the etiquette.

Yes, they have. Japanese and Chinese people love Lancel and it exists many replicas in vary level of qualities.

Hi! Does anyone know should Lancel Brigitte Bardot alcantara bags have a serial number inside? The bag I bought looks otherwise high quality and all the metal parts have Lancel.

Yes, they have. Have a look inside the pockets.

Lining has Lancel imprinted. Bag appears to be well made but definitely not current or recent style. Perhaps vintage? Thanks in advance!
