Authenticate This Kipling

Hi,

how does the name of the monkey become a dead give away?
The owner said it was bought at a Kipling boutique.. Also the bag came with a white tag with a reference number on the lower right side of the bag.. The monkey also comes with a reference number on top of its name..

Davina (monkey's name) is a black color only monkey. Even fakes have the white tag reference.

I would say that the fakes LOOK exactly like the original. I've been duped by this before, that's why I know how to spot the fake ones. If you really know how to check the code and proper name of the monkeys, then you'd know it's definitely fake.

Pls can someone authenticate this for me. Ive searched already and it looks good except when i received it there was no tag attached to it. Also stitches on the front pocket looks off

This thread has been quiet for a while.. I'll try, though. Here is what I think is an obvious fake Kipling bag. The logo is on the side (!) instead of the center - I've never seen a Kipling like that before. The gorilla looks all right, so is the inside of the bag. That is until you unzip the outer pockets - these don't have any lining at all. I have some bags purchased directly from Kipling and they all have lining in all they pockets.
